Service industry decision-makers often view landfilling as a lower-cost, more convenient alternative to recycling, and they're right.

Increased space & time demands, the need for employee education & training, and higher cost of service (relative to landfilling) are all challenges commonly cited by owners & GMs in explaining their decision to not recycle their glass bottles.
