- What is Recycle Revolution?
Recycle Revolution is a “one-stop shop” recycling collection service to businesses and multi-tenant communities in DFW; offering consulting and project management for clients seeking to achieve zero-waste goals. Our warehouse also serves as a community drop-off for recyclable materials.
-
What materials does Recycle Revolution accept?
- Paper
- Cardboard
- Plastics #1-7 (no Styrofoam)
- Aluminum, Tin
- Glass (all types and colors)
- Electronic “E-waste,” light bulbs, fixtures and batteries
- What areas does Recycle Revolution serve?
Currently we serve the Dallas area for regular pick-up service, and the DFW area for special events and services. We have plans to expand our boundaries, but we strive to be conscious of our impact on our community’s resources; i.e. gas usage. Feel free to call us and we will do our best to assist you!
- Do you offer a rebate on recyclables?
Currently we do not offer rebates on recyclable materials.
- What happens to recyclables once they get to your facility?
Three things happen to recyclables when they arrive here at Recycle Revolution: First they are evaluated for cleanliness, then weighed and logged. Last, items are sorted and shipped out to recyclers in the area who we find are excelling in the job they do.
- Does Recycle Revolution also pick-up trash?
No, Recycle Revolution only picks up recyclables.

- Do you all provide containers? What kind?
Yes, we do provide containers for clients, and clean ones at that. Typically we use 95-gallon roll-out bins (similar to the City of Dallas’ recycling bins), but we also offer an assortment of other sizes and shapes to suit an array of uses and spaces. All bins are cleaned before entering your facility.
- My office is inside a larger building, will you come up to our office for pick-ups?
This is what we call, ‘valet,’ and, yes, we will enter a facility at a nominal charge in addition to your normal pick-up service fee.
- How much does this cost?
Recycle Revolution charges a minimal fee to service businesses for their recycling needs. Location, number of recycling bins, and number of pick-ups are essential to giving you an accurate quote. Please call us for a free estimate!
- What else is included with the pick-up service?
- Green Marketing –Has your company thought of catering to the sustainability community? All new clients can place their logo (with link to your website) on Recycle Revolution’s client page. Get noticed for your green initiatives!
- Orientations - To all clients we offer staff a/o tenant orientations so there is a smooth and successful transition into your new program.
- Bin Maintenance – Your office won’t have to worry about dumpster smells or critters because we clean out all bins before they enter your facility.
- Audit Reports – Want to see results? We record all client bin weights, so recycling programs aren’t out of sight and out of mind.
- E-waste – With prior notice, clients may add e-waste to their pick-up free of charge. Fees associated with individual items do apply and will be added to your next invoice. (Please call us for E-waste pricing.)
- Do you all offer shredding services?
While we do not shred paper for our clients, we are able to pick-up and recycle shredded material.
- I live in a complex where there is no recycling. How do I go about starting a recycling program there?
If you have already talked with your property manager about having a more sustainable complex with no luck, talk with your neighbors and approach management with either a petition or letter. We offer many different options for complexes to start recycling and would love to send them a free quote.

- How can I get these items recycled?
- If you’re a client, all you have to do is call us ahead of time and add it to your pick-up free of charge. Fees associated with individual items do apply and will be added to your next invoice. (Please call us for E-waste pricing.)
- Drive out to us! We will price your items accordingly and that’s it!
- If you have a large load of electronics, light bulbs, fixtures and/or batteries that need to be recycled, we can arrange for a pick-up. Please call us for details and pricing.
- Why do you charge me to have these recycled?
- We only work with certified “e-stewards” who, in turn, do their part in diverting these materials from our landfills. Taking materials apart the right way, here, in the USA costs money.
- Electronics recycling warning
- Make sure your old electronic items end up at a certified “e-steward” facility. This ensures items are not illegally shipped overseas to be dismantled in an environmentally unfriendly way.
- Check out this site for more information: www.e-stewards.org
- Recycle Revolution offers certification to businesses wanting to recycle their e-waste.
- My question wasn’t answered here!
