F.A.Q. > What We Do and Don't Recycle > What is Single Stream recycling?

Type your key word(s) in here!

Single Stream is a term used to describe the convergence of multiple "separate" material streams (i.e. paper, plastic, aluminum, etc.) into one "single stream" container.

RR's Single Stream programs permit the following items to be placed into one single container:

  • Paper
  • Plastics #1-7
  • Aluminum
  • Cardboard
  • Glass bottles

We offer Single Stream recycling programs to Apartments & Condominiums, as well as smaller businesses, where communication (regarding what can and cannot be recycled) is high and contamination rates are low.
